Kathrine does research on gender, health, and labor economics, as well as economic history. Her research has a particular focus on gendered occupational sorting and the productivity implications of making jobs more family-friendly through overtime and scheduling restrictions. Her dissertation examined these questions in the physician labor market. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.
