Rachel is a development economist with interests in household behavior and finance, gender, and labor. Her research interests include intra-household resource allocation and efficiency using field experiments. Her current projects explore how monetary incentives transmitted within households influence labor supply and technology adoption decisions, and contribute to low agricultural productivity in sub-Saharan Africa.
